On the west side of Parsons Green Lane, opposite the junction with Novello Road, this station provides access to the District line of the London Transport underground system. The Metropolitan District Railway extended their line in 1880 from West Brompton through here to Putney Bridge and thence across the river and out to Wimbledon.
