Battersea Park Station - CSC
At the south-east corner of Queens Circus on Queenstown Road, just north of Battersea Park Road, this station provides access to Comex South Central and South East trains out of the London terminus of Victoria Station to south and south-east London suburbs. The station was built for the London Brighton and South Coast Railway in 1865-7. It has features that are quite grand for what is now almost at the level of a halt in the hierarchy of stations. The high booking hall has an arcade supported on pairs of leafy cast-iron columns decorated with female heads.
