The museum is on the site of Saint Thomas's Hospital, 2 Lambeth Palace Road. It presents a life-size reconstruction of a scene from the Crimean war, costumes, personal possessions, period rooms and an audio-visual centre illustrate the life and career of Florence Nightingale. Ms Nightingale is quoted as saying 'Nursing is a progressive art, in which to stand still is to go back.' You might see here something of what we would go back to.
