A daughter of the Comte de Paris married the Italian Duke of Aosta. The old Duke of Aosta was present. There was a very considerable presence of the French royal family of Louis-Philippe in Twickenham subsequent to the release in 1800 of Louis-Philippe and his brothers from prison in Marseilles.
