The Rothschilds acquired the Large Mansion here in Gunnersbury Park (the house was then known as Gunnersbury Park) in 1835 and the adjacent Small Mansion then known as Gunnersbury House in 1885. The Large Mansion is now a museum which includes in its display some magnificent carriages that were the Rothschild's.
