Trumpeters House, Richmond

This house with its lawns sweeping down to the tow-path by the river is possibly the largest house in Richmond. It is now divided into three residences. It was built by John Yeomans for Richard Hill, a diplomat, in 1702-04. The site of the house is that of the Middle Gate of Henry VII's Richmond Palace.
