Maids of Honour Row, Richmond Green
These houses along the south-west side of The Green are on the site of a range of Henry VII's Richmond Palace which, unusually, did survive the depredations of the Commonwealth. They were built about 1725 to accommodate the maids of honour attending Caroline of Ansbach, Princess of Wales in her marriage to the future George II.
