The Dukes Head, Golden Court, Richmond was named after the victor of Vigo Bay who, 10 years later, was disgraced, impeached and imprisoned. His house and estate of Ormonde Lodge (now part of Old Deer Park and Kew Gardens) was bought from his brother by the Prince of Wales (later George II) and turned into Richmond Lodge.
