Bishops Park
As an adjunct to Fulham Palace, which is the palace of the Bishop of London whose cathedra is in St Paul's, these grounds benefited from the enthusiasms of 16th and 17th century bishops. They made arrangements for the incumbents of livings in the Americas, which were in this diocese, that they should send home specimens of their local plants and trees.
